We hear it all the time,

“Isn’t it amazing that the scriptures  are silent about America?”

I once thought the same thing myself, but after prayerful re-examination of the history of America and searching the scriptures, I don’t believe that is true anymore. Therefore I submit the following for those open enough to examine for themselves whether or not America is mentioned in scripture. Though, I admit nowadays with the rising flood of endtime theologies, it is getting harder to convince most people that it is. As Mark Twain once said, “It is easier to fool someone than it is to convince them they have been fooled.” Likewise, it has been proven over and over again, that the greatest hindrance to people accepting the truth is a prejudice or presupposition to it before they fully hear a matter.

“He who answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and a shame to him.” (Proverbs 18:13)

The purpose of this booklet is to offer an explanation as to why God is intolerant of sin and why His Church must be as well. Of course, we all do understand that “all have sinned” and that sin is a regrettable reality in the world. However, we must not ignore sin while trying to reach sinners or misinterpret the divine exhortation to love our neighbors and our enemies as permission to ignore the destruction sin is working in them. For sin, be it their sins or our sins, are all a direct assault on the authority and character of God, who alone is the Creator of every living thing.

Remember, as Christians we are made stewards of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it will be required that as stewards we have been found faithful. If you can grasp that, then you will have a foundation upon which to understand the judgment coming upon America. You will also realize why in this world you are the enemy and are rapidly becoming its primary target.

I Corinthians 4:1 – Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

Fortunately, God has provided us a remedy for our sin in His grace, but sadly many people completely misunderstand the grace of God. But if you fail to understand the purpose of God’s grace it is almost certain you will also fail to allow it to accomplish all God that intended it to in your life. Surely you have heard “by grace are ye saved,” but have you not also heard God’s bemoaning cry, “My people perish for lack of knowledge?” Although it is only by grace that we could even hope to have ears to hear the wisdom that the Spirit is trying to speak to God’s people, they still need to be listening and willing to respond to what the Holy Spirit is instructing the believers to do in order to escape the wrath to come. Never forget, while admonitions were given to all the saints in the Seven Churches of Revelation, it was only to the “overcomers” that had “ears to hear” that Jesus spoke all those wonderful promises.

The following list contains three things that God’s word teaches us fundamentally about His grace. Not only are these truths asserted in scriptures, biblical history affirms their reality over and over again as it records without partiality both the triumphs and failures of those who professed to believe in God.

1. Grace is sufficient.
2. Grace can be frustrated.
3. Grace can be received in vain.

We take a look at each of these in The Mystery of Godliness.

Note: This Booklet is taken from Chapters 6 and 20 of “The Eighth Beast – An examination of Modern Tribulation Theology and America in Prophecy.
